Базельская конвенция о контроле за трансграничной перевозкой опасных отходов и их удалением (международная конвенция, регулирующая трансграничные перевозки с целью обеспечения наиболее безопасной для окружающей среды погрузки и перевозки опасных отходов; в частности, конвенция запрещает ввоз опасных отходов на территорию стран, не способных обеспечить адекватное хранение или удаление этих отходов; кроме этого, конвенция содержит требования по минимизации производства опасных отходов; подписана в 1989 г. в г.
